Server Rules

1

Respect staff & their decisions

Staff are here to keep things moving and fair. You don't have to love every call, but you do need to respect it while it's being handled.

2

No ERP — at all

Zero tolerance. This results in a full server ban.

3

Use common sense

Not every situation needs a giant rule attached. Be fair, be respectful, and don't do things clearly meant to ruin the experience for everyone else.

4

Stay in character

This is a roleplay server — act, speak, and react like your character would. Small mistakes happen, but the goal is to keep the world feeling real.

5

Don't make your character invincible

You're not a superhero. Your character can be scared, make mistakes, lose fights, get injured, and fail. Good roleplay isn't about always winning.

6

Don't roleplay just to annoy people

There's a difference between a rough character and a headache. Make roleplay interesting, not miserable.

7

No powergaming

Your faction's motive shouldn't only be to take over the server. Stick to your character's story — they don't know everything either.

8

No metagaming

Don't use information learned outside of roleplay in character. If a friend told you something in Discord, or you saw it in chat, your character doesn't magically know it.

9

Keep OOC drama out

Arguments, grudges, and personal issues stay out of roleplay. If there's a real problem, stay calm and talk to staff instead of making it everyone's problem.

10

No exploiting, cheating, or abusing mechanics

Using bugs, loopholes, outside tools, or broken mechanics for an advantage isn't roleplay — it's cheating.

11

Give new players breathing room

Everyone starts somewhere. Don't instantly crush new people still learning the server. Build the community instead of scaring people off.

12

The point is a good story

The best roleplay comes from good moments, real tension, and believable characters. Focus on fun, memorable scenes — not loot, wins, or kill counts.

13

Permanent player death

Perma-death can happen — but you must open a ticket with admins first.

14

Espionage

Must be approved by an admin, and you must periodically give the information to the admin.

15

No major-faction alliances

No alliances between the main factions (BOS, NCR, Legion, Khans). This keeps the factions balanced so no one side can completely overpower the others.

PVP Rules

1 · Initiation

You must verbally or non-verbally (e.g. shooting at their feet) communicate intent to do harm in order to create initiation.

Initiation is shared among those in the same uniform. In a major faction (Legion, NCR, BOS), wearing any faction armor counts as the same uniform.

Wearing gear similar to a main faction can get you mistaken for the enemy — which lets others attack you on suspicion of colluding with that faction. Don't want that? Don't wear similar or identical gear to those factions.

1.2 — Two types of initiation. Normal initiation: a PVP situation with no demands attached. Conditional initiation: the initiator gives a demand; if the recipient complies, the initiator cannot shoot them as long as they keep complying and do nothing outside of that.

1.3 — Response window. The recipient gets 10 seconds to respond to the initiation. EXCEPTION: the 10-second timer is void if the recipient moves (looking around isn't moving), draws/points a weapon, or gives callouts on radio.

1.4 — KOS timer. Once initiation is made there's a minimum 10-minute KOS timer from the moment of initiation. Unless a constant effort (standoff, hostage, active chase, etc.) is made and recorded, initiation ends and you must re-initiate.

2 · Faction bases

Faction bases are off-limits to attack unless admin-approved. With six or more players, justification is required. If a chase enters a faction base, you cannot continue the chase — you must have a clip of them running into the base and get admin approval before entering.

3 · Custom factions

All custom factions in the Mojave are subject to the standard PVP rules.

4 · Ambush / Warzone rules

4.1 — NCR and Legion can ambush/KOS each other as long as a warzone is placed right before the first shot.

4.1.1 — Immediately after the ambush is initiated, the initiating faction must place a Warzone to declare the area a fighting zone.

4.1.1.1 — NCR and Legion have KOS for anyone in the zone or entering it. The only exception is a wastelander who leaves the zone or surrenders.

5 · Raider PVP rules

5.1 — Raiders have KOS and can be KOS'd at any time.

5.1.1 — Raiders cannot attack the same player more than once per hour.

5.2 — Wearing raider-like gear means you can be KOS'd by other players, but you cannot KOS others.
